The Weapon Master would have an active skill for EACH type of weapon in the game, and each of these skills when used will do the following:
- Summon a weapon of that type into their hands, discarding any previously summoned weapon or moving standard equipment into their inventory. This weapon will always be level appropriate and cannot be sold, traded, enchanted, or placed in the stash.
- Immediately do a special attack based on that weapon. Can be done even if recasting the weapon already held. Most special attacks will be only partially weapon DPS based, and recieve a good benefit from Focus.
- Ranking up these skills will improve only the special attack, NOT confer any bonuses to the specific summoned weapon. This is to prevent the player from feeling shoe-horned into just one weapon type, if they level it up more than the others.
- * If the Weapon Master's charge bar is full when they cast a weapon, the normal special attack will be replaced with an alternate, MUCH more powerful attack. This occasional super attack constitutes the Weapon Master's entire charge mechanic.
Most of the Weapon Master's passive skills will be specific types of bonus that will apply to ALL of their summoned weapons (and ONLY to summoned weapons). One skill might give all weapons fire damage, while another might be a critical hit chance/severity bonus. These will allow the player to hand pick their favorite weapon properties, and let their summoned weapons eventually match higher quality standard equipment in power and utility.
